PICKENS COUNTY—The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office arrested four Pickens County residents on drug charges last Thursday in Easley.

A SWAT team served search and arrest warrants on Oct. 18 at 116 Onyx Lane, apprehending Kenneth M. Cartee, John David Hendricks, Jeremiah Brandon Holcombe, and James Robert Holcombe.

Officials say the Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division conducted controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Cartee during the past two months. Two separate investigations led to the arrests of Jeremiah Holcombe, James Holcombe and Hendricks.

Two arrest warrants for distribution of methamphetamine were issued as well as a search warrant for the home.

Following execution of the search warrant, Cartee faces additional charges of trafficking between 10-28 grams of methamphetamine and two charges of possession of controlled substances.

Cartee is currently being held at the Pickens County Detention Center.

Jeremiah Holcombe was charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, and James Holcombe was charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine.

Jeremiah Holcombe has been released after posting a $30,000 bond, and James Holcombe is in custody at the Pickens County Detention Center.

Hendricks, of 322 Flint Hill Drive in Pickens, has been charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, second offense, and is currently being held at the Pickens County Detention Center.
