CENTRAL – The singing group COMMITTED, comprised of five young men who won Season 2 of the NBC hit musical competition “The Sing-Off,” will give a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at Southern Wesleyan University.

The concert will be in the auditorium of Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center on Southern Wesleyan University’s campus in Central.

Four out of COMMITTED’s five members are instrumentalists and all of them are able to sing various styles of music, including pop, R&B, gospel, contemporary worship, and jazz, which is arranged using only their voices to emulate a full band sound. It has been their strong faith, hard work and creativity that has gotten them to the point of being called one of the nation’s top 10 a cappella groups.

COMMITTED truly believes that “with God all things are possible,” and they continue to work towards inspiring people through music.

This event is part of Southern Wesleyan University’s annual Fine Arts Series at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center on the university’s campus in Central. Admission is free. For details, go online to swu.edu/finearts or call 864-644-5408.
