Attempted murder suspect arrested in Georgia

EASLEY — A Pickens County man wanted in connection with two attempted murders is behind bars after being arrested around 1 p.m. Tuesday by U.S. Marshals in Chamblee, Ga., a small town close to Atlanta.Jason Allen Larson had been on the run from law enforcement since April 9 when he became the suspect in an attempted double homicide at 408 Highland Road in Easley. One unidentified man remains at Greenville Memorial Hospital in stable condition as a result of the shooting.The second charge of attempted murder is the result of Larson’s alleged shots fired at an unidentified female who was in the residence at the time.
