Cannon Auxiliary awards Dr. John Harden Scholarship PICKENS — Ashley Nicole Fuller has been chosen as the 2013 recipient of the Dr. John Harden Scholarship. Ashley has been employed with Cannon for 9 years and is currently the Information Services Applications Manager for Cannon. Concrete Primary hosts Kids Fit Health Week POWDERSVILLE—A new program designed to keep students active kicks off next week at Concrete Primary.
The school is getting set to host a new program entitled “Kids Fit Health Week,” running Monday through Thursday on May 13 through 17.
According to organizers, the program aims to teach kids about healthy and unhealthy foods, limiting television and gaming time and the importance of getting outside and exercising.

Best Chevrolet hires new GSM EASLEY — Keith Knoerr has been hired as the new general sales manager for Best Chevrolet of Easley.
A native of Seneca, Knoerr has spent more than 13 years in the automotive industry mainly in Georgia. He and his wife, Christie, have a daughter, Kaydence.
