PICKENS — The Ernie Treadway Rodeo is back in action in Pickens each Saturday night.

“With the end of football season, we thought this would give families a good event indoors during the winter,” said David Elias, operations manager for the Rodeo.

The rodeos will include events for all ages, including goat roping and sheep riding for children and barrel racing, bronc riding and bull riding for the older contenders. Many of the riders will come from the Pickens County area, so Elias encourages rodeo enthusiast to come out in support. Riders will also come from Georgia and North Carolina to match their talents locally.

The rodeo will take place at the Old Winchester Building, 422 Ann St., Pickens at 7 p.m. each Saturday through the end of March.
