After rehearsing Thursday evening and all day Friday with SWU’s director of choral activities, Dr. Don R. Campbell, the South Carolina Upper Region Honor Choir will present a Friday evening program highlighting the great work they have achieved. For more than 200 students, it is the culmination of not only these two days, but also the preparation that has taken place in their own high schools by their choral instructors. Dr. Campbell has been honored to be the guest conductor of this choir for the past 11 years. Prof. Jane Dill is the accompanist for the choir. The concert will be held at the Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center. Admission is free. Details: (864) 644-5408.
