U.S. Air Force Airman Najiyen A. Blythe graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Blythe is the son of Nathan C. Blythe of El Paso, Texas, and Kamisha L. Hendricks of Pickens, and step-son of Michelle R. Blythe of El Paso, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Player is the son of Teresa L. Free of Starr, and Van O. Player of Easley, stepson of David L. Free of Starr, and brother of Chesnee T. Player and Tyree S. Player of Starr.

He is a 2014 graduate of Westside High School in Anderson.
