LIBERTY — Jermaine Fields, 36, of 219 Sanders Road in Liberty, was arrested at his place of employment on Jan. 28 and charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor in connection with an investigation by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the PCSO, an investigation was started Nov. 16, 2015, into allegations that a teenager had been sexually molested on numerous occasions over a two-year period dating back to 2013.
The investigation revealed that Fields committed multiple sexual acts on the victim between the ages of 14 to 16 between June 2013 and November 2015.
The victim is not related to Fields, investigators said. Detectives believe all of the incidents happened at a residence in Liberty.
Bond was denied.
