ANDERSON COUNTY — Anderson County deputies responded to a violent domestic altercation between a husband and wife at 2707 Ranchwood Drive in Anderson early Tuesday morning that resulted in both parties being transported to the hospital.
During the incident, Jason Douglas Bane, 41, reported being stabbed in the left forearm and back by his wife, Jessica Anderson Bane, 38, while at their Ranchwood Drive home. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
On the arrival of the deputies, Jessica Bane was in the couple’s garage actively stabbing her own neck. A taser was used on her to stop the self-destruction.
The Banes were then taken to AnMed for treatment. Jason Bane, whose wounds were non-life threatening, was treated and released. Jessica Bane remains there in stable condition.
No arrests have been made. The investigation remains active.
Deputies have responded to that location previously with domestic and EMS-related calls. There is no record of previous domestic violence charges against either party.
