Crime Stoppers golf tourney is May 5 in Seneca

WALHALLA — The 2016 Mayberry Open Golf Tournament, a fund raising tournament to benefit Crime Stoppers of Oconee County Inc., is scheduled for May 5 at Oconee Country Club in Seneca.

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a noon shotgun start. The field will consist of four-man Captain’s Choice teams and the field will be limited to 25 teams or 100 players. The cost per player is $60 or $240 for a team.

Chick-fil-A in Seneca will provide lunch before the tournament and Little Pigs Barbeque will provide supper afterwards. The tournament will also feature a closest to the pin and longest drive contest, along with a hole in one contest on the par-3 Hole 6 that will pay $500 to anyone who scores a hole in one on that hole.
